Welcome to TinySteps! These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you") and MINTech Innovations Private Limited, a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013, having its registered office at Plot No 2, Prime Anmol, Apartment Gorewada, Katolroad, Nagpur - 440013, Maharashtra, India ("Company", "we", "us", "our").
By accessing or using the TinySteps mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1.1. You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use TinySteps. The App is designed for and directed at adult moms and is not intended for use by children.
1.2. By registering, you represent that you are the mom of the child(ren) whose information you provide on the App.
1.3. The App is currently available exclusively in Nagpur, Maharashtra, India. We may expand to other geographies in the future.
2.1. To use TinySteps, you must register using a valid Indian mobile phone number (+91). We verify your identity through a one-time password (OTP) sent via SMS.
2.2. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.
2.3. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your profile information up to date.
2.4. One account per phone number. You may not create multiple accounts.
TinySteps is a hyperlocal social networking platform for moms with children aged 0–8 years. The App provides:
3.2. The App is free to download and use. There are no subscriptions or in-app purchases. We reserve the right to introduce paid features in the future, which will be subject to separate terms and your explicit consent.
You agree NOT to:
5.1. TinySteps includes tools to help maintain a safe community. You can block any user to prevent them from viewing your profile or contacting you, and report users or content that violates these Terms.
5.2. We review reported content and may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms. We reserve the right to take action on objectionable content at our discretion.
5.3. If you encounter content or behaviour that you find objectionable, please use the in-app reporting feature or contact us at support@tinysteps.social.
6.1. TinySteps is designed for adult moms and is not directed at children under 18. Children do not create accounts or independently access the App.
6.2. TinySteps allows moms to create profiles for their children to facilitate playdates and age-appropriate activities. Children's profiles are created and managed exclusively by the mom's account.
6.3. You must only create child profiles for children for whom you are the mom.
6.4. We take the protection of children's data extremely seriously. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle children's information.
7.1. TinySteps maintains a zero-tolerance policy towards child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) content. Any content that sexually exploits or endangers children is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account termination.
7.2. We actively monitor and remove CSAE content. All media uploaded to TinySteps is scanned for known CSAE material. Users who upload, share, or distribute such content will be permanently banned without warning.
7.3. Users can report suspected CSAE content or behaviour through the in-app reporting feature (available on every user profile and in messaging) or by emailing safety@tinysteps.social. All reports are treated with the highest priority and confidentiality.
7.4. Upon identifying or receiving a report of CSAE content, we will:
7.5. TinySteps cooperates with law enforcement agencies and regulatory authorities in India and internationally to combat child exploitation. We comply with all applicable laws including the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.
7.6. For child safety concerns, contact us at safety@tinysteps.social. For emergencies involving a child, please contact local law enforcement immediately.
8.1. You retain ownership of all content you upload, post, or share on TinySteps ("User Content"), including profile information, photos, reviews, and messages.
8.2. By uploading User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, display, reproduce, and distribute such content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the App.
8.3. All uploaded media is scanned for malware. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms or is flagged as harmful.
8.4. You are solely responsible for your User Content and represent that you have all necessary rights to share it.
9.1. TinySteps uses your device location to provide proximity-based features such as nearby playdates, events, connections, and business recommendations.
9.2. Location access is requested via your device's standard permission dialog. You may revoke location permission at any time through your device settings, though this may limit the App's functionality.
9.3. Your precise location is stored on our servers to calculate distances and provide recommendations. You can control the visibility of your address through Privacy settings in the App.
10.1. The App provides direct messaging between users. You can control who may send you messages through your privacy settings (everyone or connections only).
10.2. Messages are stored on our servers to enable delivery and message history. We do not read or monitor private messages except when required by law or when investigating reports of abuse.
10.3. You may block any user to prevent them from messaging you.
11.1. TinySteps features listings for kid-friendly businesses. We do not guarantee the accuracy, quality, or safety of any listed business.
11.2. Reviews and ratings reflect individual user opinions. We are not responsible for the content of user reviews.
11.3. Businesses may respond to reviews. We reserve the right to remove reviews that are fraudulent, abusive, or violate these Terms.
12.1. From time to time, we may offer vouchers, coupons, or reward campaigns through the App.
12.2. Vouchers are subject to specific terms including validity period, eligible businesses, and redemption conditions as displayed in the App.
12.3. Vouchers have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money. They are non-transferable unless otherwise stated.
12.4. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any voucher campaign at our discretion.
13.1. The App sends push notifications for events such as new messages, connection requests, playdate updates, event invitations, and promotional campaigns.
13.2. You may disable push notifications at any time through your device settings.
14.1. The App, its design, features, code, and all related intellectual property are owned by MINTech Innovations Private Limited and are protected under applicable Indian and international intellectual property laws.
14.2. The "TinySteps" name, logo, and branding are trademarks of MINTech Innovations Private Limited. You may not use them without our prior written permission.
15.1. You may delete your account at any time from within the App by navigating to Profile → Settings → Delete Account. You will be asked to confirm by typing "DELETE".
15.2. Upon deletion, your profile, children's profiles, messages, connections, and all associated data will be removed from public view immediately. Data will be permanently purged from our servers within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
15.3. Account deletion is irreversible. Any active vouchers, pending playdate requests, or event RSVPs will be cancelled.
15.4. You may also request account deletion by emailing support@tinysteps.social with the phone number associated with your account.
16.1. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in harmful conduct, or pose a risk to other users or their children.
16.2. Termination does not relieve you of obligations incurred before termination, including any pending voucher settlements.
17.1. TinySteps is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the App's reliability, accuracy, or availability.
17.2. We do not conduct background checks on users. You are solely responsible for exercising caution when meeting other users or allowing your children to interact with others through playdates or events arranged via the App.
17.3. We are not responsible for the conduct of any user, whether online or offline.
17.4. We do not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted access to the App. Service may be interrupted for maintenance, updates, or reasons beyond our control.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, MINTech Innovations Private Limited and its directors, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of the App.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MINTech Innovations Private Limited from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the App, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.
20.1. These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
20.2. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Nagpur, Maharashtra, India.
20.3. Before initiating legal proceedings, you agree to attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation by contacting us at support@tinysteps.social.
21.1. We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top and notify you through the App.
21.2. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
